Ad agency Euro RSCG was asked to come up with a new look for a corporate brochure that event management leader Opus Solutions needed for sales calls. Given a tight deadline and specific guidelines, Euro used Adobe Stock Photos to expedite its search of multiple stock photo libraries all at once, without having to replicate searches in each library individually. The goal was to quickly find compelling images that hadn’t been widely published elsewhere, some of which might be tucked away in smaller libraries that a person on deadline might decide not to explore. In a flash, Euro located images that would appeal to conservative senior executives while conveying Opus’ modern, energetic company culture, all without having to leave the Adobe Creative Suite layout tool.
The results were exactly what the client ordered. “You get us,” Opus raved.
Philosophy/Solution
The fresh stream of images supplied by Adobe Stock Photos is stored in one central location without loss of fidelity. A single integrated shopping cart and single licensing agreement simplify the purchase and tracking of images. Designers can drag and drop photos they choose directly into design templates within Adobe Creative Suite without losing corresponding information such as place, date and other sourcing. Even images from different libraries within Adobe Stock Photos are consistent, whereas in the past designers struggled to correct disparities that gave their layouts a “jumpy” look.
Results
In just 30 minutes, Euro found 50 images that hit the mark. Designers selected finalists and created the brochure on time and on budget, all within the Adobe Creative Suite.
